Mjcurry Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 And I only get to be with her for another month and a half.* Ive been trying to date for the last year with no attention from any girls. I thought I was really unattractive and unlikable. However, Im on my last semester of college and I meet this great girl. I planned on just asking her out, getting rejected, and stop this whole dating game. But she agreed...We went out on a few dates and then she kissed me... after a bit, i asked her if she would be my girlfriend. She said she just wanted to keep dating, she didnt want to be in a realationship during the school year. we dated some more but she started to get very distant. Our last date was really bad, she wasent talking, i ask her if she could give me a ride to pick up DJhero tuesday and she said she was busy, I tried to kiss her at the end of the night and she pulled away, and I told her to tell what was wrong or we were thru. she said she had gotten a message from facebook from my mom saying she was part of the family and that we loved her for dating her son... well thing is, my mom dosent have a facebook nor did the woman she describe sound like her. It wasent my mom and she apologized she was a little freaked out. She then tells me the real reason she dosent really want a relationship is because, once she graduates she will be moving to California to pursue her dream of being a creature designer. (its one of the many things we had in common) I understood this cause I want to be great comic book artist, however my dream dosent really require me to relocate. She said if I still wanted to date it was up to me. The next day in class, I tell her I still want to date and that she owed me a way better date, and a way better kiss (and I got one ) plus she even agreed to take me to get djhero (she said she had been trying to distance herself from me cause of the whole mom thing, understandable) plus i remembered her saying that she needed a new sketch book so I bought her one and drew this really wicked dragon in it with a message in it saying" For (ill leave her name out) the most AWESOME girl I know, and even if you leave, I hope you dont forget about me " her birthday is next week and i bought her a really AWESOME dragon statue and dragon necklace (she really loves dragons) and when we get djhero at midnight Im going to have to beg/ drag her to my room/dorm (dont know how im gonna do that yet) and surprise her with it and maybe a cupcake or some kind of birthday snack (I might get to have a little of of a heavy make out session with her if im lucky ) yesterday was our one month... Ive never dated anyone (ive gone on dates, but never dated, plus she was my first kiss) and she means alot to me. The thought that I only have a little under a month and a half to spend with her makes me very sad and Ive been really depressed all day Even though we only live 45 minutes away from each other I dont have a car she does, and I doubt she would want to come visit me if we arent in a relationship. And i hate this so much, I think I may be feeling love for her, but I dont want to say anything to scare her off Plus i know when I move back home for the year or so there will be no available girls. I live by a highschool, so either theyre all jailbait, or theyre all married and retired and only moved there to be close to the highschool for their kids... Im really not looking forward to my future love life. So with only a month and a half left, what should I try to learn, try, or experience? Plus any idea how I might be able to get over her once we're done? And what should I do about my love life then? Thanks for listening . I wrote all of this so you guys would know the whole situation and could maybe give me extra advice if you thought of it. thanks again
FL Lady Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Wow. You're totally infatuated with her and that is a great feeling. Try your best to keep realistic. Not sure how old you are but I suggest the book The Five Love Languages I wish someone had suggested that to me years ago.

I'm 22 btw if that helps... Also I looked into the book, how do you think it can help me?
