how do i know if a girl is being friendly or something else

girls in one of my classes and since the first day she was really nice to me, like she's talking to me like she knew me for a while. and i'm in the marines reserve and getting deployed soon for a tour and since she heard that she's like really upset about it and keep telling me to be safe,it'll go by soon ect... and every day after class she stays outside till i come out and we walk to our cars together. why is she doing this and btw she has a 4yo daughter and is married and 3yrs older than me she's 24 and i just turned 21, should i stay away form her or is she being nice, now she talks to other ppl in class coz every one in class knows what their doing except for us two so she talks to the two guys near us and asks stuff and small convos and always checks to see if i got it and if i didt she like goes over that stuff with me.

 

i'm just puzzled why she's so nice to me i mean even my girl friend didn't do this stuff for me, better yet i had to run after her after class (she broke up with me tho )

OP, is her husband in the military? Often I've found that military people can treat each other like family and your reserve status being called up brings you into the family. I mention this because she said 'it'll go by soon', like she might have experience.

 

In any event, she's married and you're deploying so take her friendly and supportive behavior as a great send-off for the upcoming dangerous and uncertain times you'll face.
