TomerT Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Hi All, 2 weeks ago I was visitng in another city (5 hours flight from my place) and just 2 hours before the flight back home, completely accidentally met a nice girl... Actually she approached me out of nowhere, in the middle of the crowded street, cause she noticed that we speak the same luangage... So, for me it was a nice surprise..We went for a coffee, spent may be like 1 hour together, exchanged phones, shaked hands and said goodbye... Not before she mentioned that she is not looking for a boyfriend or any kind of relationship, and I also assured her that I am also not in the "mood" to have any relationships soon (for anyone who may not know - just few weeks ago I was brutally dumped by cheating girlfriend who also get pregnant for her X. so I don't see my self trust anyone soon)... Anyway, also to clarify picture - she is 20, living by herself in the country, I am 33 also living by myslef... Now about 4 days after I came back home, I receive a phone call from her: "I want to come for vacation for one week to visit your city, never been there before. Do you mind if I stay at your place ?"... It was also accompanied with "I really don't beleive I do it", "I have a feeling like you a honest and trustfull person", "On the other hand, may be I will stay in the hotel?"... Of course, I said her "You are wellcome, don't worry...we will have a good time here" and stuff like this... Now..., I know my self, indeed I consider myself as responsible, honest and trustfull person. I can control my self and will not touch her even if we will sleep on the same bed ( I have only one:) )... But my question is - isn't it "strange" ? She doesn't know me. For her - I am a (male) stranger Why is she comming ? Just to have fun, may be to "save" on accomodation or indeed she liked me ? It never happpened to me before, therefore I don't know how to "swallow" it Although she is nice, from her point of view I don't see any chance for normal relationship here... First of all we live 3500 km. apart, but even if say she may consider to move (I just can not and there is nothing holding her there), 13 yeasr of age difference, seems a little bit too much (again from her prespective).. I suppose she also wants to "see life", meet some other men, etc... How should I act ? Any advice will be appreciated... Link to post Share on other sites
