green apples Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 When guys/guy friends accidentally brush your hand or shoulder, or touch you lightly (deliberately or not, who knows?), or punch you lightly and say I just feel like doing that, is that a sign of interest? Or should these actions not be over-read into?
Kinder-Horror Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Well "accidentally brushing your shoulder" suggests it was an accident. "Deliberately, or not" actually kind of matters here! Playful punching, etc sounds flirty - but it also sounds like you might be reading way too much into.
Angel1111 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Yea, those things are usually signs of flirtation. People rarely brush hands or shoulders by accident but I guess that's a possibility, but lightly punching your arm is a form of flirting. All these things combined, it points to someone who's probably interested in you.
Author green apples Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 Yep, I know it's difficult to read just based on these. Just checking.
dressing up Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Can anyone enlighten on why people like to "touch" people they like?
USMCHokie Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Yep, I know it's difficult to read just based on these. Just checking. Yea, we need some context to this physical contact... Can anyone enlighten on why people like to "touch" people they like? At a fundamental level: Touch --> physical and physical --> sex; so touch --> sex.
Author green apples Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 Yea, we need some context to this physical contact... Actually there's not much of a context. We're friends and sometimes when we're talking or walking along the streets, he would just brush against me or put his hand on my back lightly.
Kinder-Horror Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 At a fundamental level: Touch --> physical and physical --> sex; so touch --> sex. Someone too philosophy 101! Kidding
