Mandy04 Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Does anyone know how to get rid of that inner and outer thigh bulge? The inner is right between your legs, and the outer is below your butt to the sides. Thanks
Fancy Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 The first and most important thing to do is cardio (i.e., treadmill, stairmaster, aerobic classes, etc.) You have to burn the fat. Secondly, try doing squats. You can do this at a gym, or simply use a kitchen chair to balance yourself and do them at home. The key is to stick your butt straight out and really feel the burn in your quadriceps. You can also do leg lifts. Cardio is still the key, though.
Skittles Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 .....I swear, I swear by Pilates!! .....I so some cardio because we all need to, but nothing helped my thighs until I bought a Pilates tape and did the side series and lunges... Now everything is good........
rockstarmusician Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Pilates rocks! I took one class and then the next morning, my butt and my stomach especially were just aching! They work. I have the same problem with my inner thighs. Whatever I try, I just can't get them to slim down. *sigh*
corythosaurus Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Only way to get rid of unwanted fat from certain areas is to decrease your overall Body Fat % by controlling your diet and increasing your cardio activity. You cannot spot reduce fat.
bajancutie Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 In addition to squats I've found that walking lunges are very effective for toning that area, but you've definitely got to increase the cardio.
drgnfly Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 I have read that by lying on your back hands by your side weights on your ankles, feet straight up in the air and seperate legs and bring them back together. Also traditional side leg lifts with weights. you want to use weights so you can challange your body.
