Caliguy64 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 So I guess I am doing better but I still struggle trying to make sense of everything. Still wondering how someone can be so callous to someone that loved them to just break up by text stating "I'm not in the mood to think about things anymore" and then never talk to me again. She knew how much I cared about her - would have least hoped she respected me enough to be honest. My head i spinning thinking maybe I did something wrong but for life of me would not know what it is. Why are some people like this?

They either don't care or they're don't wanna hurt you by telling you the truth. I know it hurts but if she doesn't wanna talk to you at least you can get a closure and work hard on moving on. The worst thing is when they want to be friends and tell you that stoopid line "I love you as a friend but I'm not in love anymore". That just gives you false hope because you're always hoping that friendship could turn into something more meaningful. Stay strong and vent on LS as much as you can. It helps.

The sad thing is they don't even love you as a friend as I bet you are not invited to hang out as often, invited to parties etc.

My ex text me saying after I went NC by saying "I care for you so muchh! 5 years of us u know?" I couldn't help but to think this a%$hole thinks he is convincing me by saying he care for me so much for 5 years, yet dumped me, refused to see me, doesn't want me to move on, wants back into the relationship then changes his mind.. when I got tired of his BS, I went NC.. now he is freaking out that I moved on after 2.5 mths. And have the nerve to say "I care for you??" He is full of BS!
