usagi Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Is Borderline Personality Disorder? I'm trying to find out if my ex had this. And another question: Did your ex(es) have it? You can google it and with thorough reading there's a lot of information out there. Yes my ex probably has it; having said that, it doesn't really make any difference. The result is still the same; we are ex's. 'Helping' them to cope with their condition is no longer within our abilities as we are emotionally invested (with a bias to reconciliation) and no longer a priority in their emotional future. Best thing you can do is make yourself aware of the 'red flags' so that you can avoid these types of relationships in the future; some people have a tendency to be drawn to these people.
Ajax Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Is Borderline Personality Disorder? I'm trying to find out if my ex had this. And another question: Did your ex(es) have it? This question has been on my mind a lot the past few weeks. I'm not a doctor but if I were a gambling man I'd say my ex has it. Her mood swings and uncertainty went far beyond any other woman's I've ever been with. Her ability to simply "detach" also was a signal, as well as the fact that one day she'd have someone on a pedestal and the next think they were the devil. But yeah, it doesn't change anything. I still love her and don't have her.

I think I'm drawn to them. A girl I fell for a few years ago definately fit the bill. And my most recent ex was similar in so many ways. It also kind of scares me and makes me wonder if they tend to be attracted to me too. These were the two girls who showed the most interest in me of the few I've had relationships with. Ajax Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Check these out. After reading them the traits sound so familiar to me. http://www.bpdfamily.com/bpdresources/nk_a101.htm http://www.bpdfamily.com/bpdresources/nk_a109.htm
Shadowburn Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Why does it matter now? it's over. Focus on yourself, not on her mental issues, if any. She could've been perfectly sane person, and your relationship still would have ended. Don't waste your time and precious energy on her anymore.
Div Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Yeah I agree with the above poster. Why do you care anyway? Just think about yourself and how you could improve for next time.
