Another article that proves how delicious Tall guys are to Women

Nope. You got it wrong. Peruse some of these threads. You'll see all KINDS of women saying, "Nope. Height doesn't matter at all." And then the guys will come back with, "Yeah, right. I don't believe you for a second. You're just saying that. It's been proven time and time again because I'm not tall and I can't get a date."

 

Granted, there are a few gals on LS who actually say they prefer taller men, but so what? These threads are purporting that women like ONLY tall men, and that's just not true, and no matter how many of us try to tell these guys we don't care how tall men are, they just WILL NOT HEAR IT.

I think the women the interviewed may have something to do with the outcome of the study. Did they, perhaps, interview women in the visitor's waiting room at a prison?

No argument at all with this. But I still think men who are affected by this issue have a right to vent about it without being served up the standard platitudes. People certainly vent here about sillier things without being told, subtly or otherwise, to suck it up and stop whining.

 

vent away if you (not you personally) must but venting doesn't have to include lumping all or most women into one negative category. When someone does that it turns venting into whining/bitching.

Becasue id say thats the majority of women and unless i gain esp i cant tell who exactly is like that and who isnt but just looking at them

 

Its hard enough to find a women attracted to you regardles of height but when the majority of women are already taking you out of the equation off one trait alone it makes it that much harder

well that is where we disagree. I'm not exactly tall and I have been rejected many of times but I also have had success.

I guess because, for me, it is NOT a truth. I know what goes on in my own head, and height has NEVER played into whether I found a guy attractive or not. Not one single bit. I post to give hope to guys who think they can't get a woman just because they aren't tall.

 

At least my intentions are good. I would really hope the men who ascribe to these notions could realize that they CAN have a R with a good woman who doesn't place a high value on shallow characteristics.

Here is my ranking for heights... I was thinking about making a graph but I need more practice with paint...

 

 

<5 ft : Some women may wonder how sex with a midget or dwarf would be like. Nature has given you the gift to satisfy their curiosity.

 

5ft - 5'3" : Life %^&*ing sucks, pour me a drink.

 

5'4"-5'5" : Life sucks

 

5'6"-5'7" : Officially short. Not looking good but maybe someone will find your height attractive

 

5'8" - 5'9 : Barely dodged that bullet. Very Borderline. Most women think a man's height here is just "ok", and some are totally turned off.

 

5'10" - 5'11" : Desirable. This range will be attracting to many woman.

 

6ft - 6'2" : Ideal. Women will find this range highly attractive.

 

6'3" - 6'6" : Better taller than shorter. Many women will find this height attractive but some will think you are too tall.

 

6'7"+ : A mixed bag here but I'm sure some women will wonder if your height is any indication to what is in your pants. People of this height have a lower life expectancy.

If you short guys stopped whining and lowered your standards you could get some of the plain janes who tall guys ignore.

 

 

Been there, done that, you'd be suprised how many chubby women and plain women even reject a guy of my height or physical appearance, some aren't even much to write home about in looks. Interestingly enough.

What I get a kick out of is a woman who is a mere petite 5'2", and they want a guy who is 6 feet or taller, figured...at least by HER perspective ALL men are tall....to HER.

Don't get me wrong, I like short girls. But girls that short(a foot shorter than me or even more) can be an inconvenience. If a girl is a foot shorter than me(I'm 6'1") and they do exist, I either have to bend down a ton or they have to pull on my neck. It makes perfect sense for someone that's 5'9"-10" that wants a guy 6'2". No one has the right to demand a certain height, but I can understand it from the tall girl's perspective. The short girl, not so much.

I really enjoy your posts (In general, actually, not just this topic) in this topic. I'm only 5'7", and have been rejected a few times due to height, with the woman actually bringing this factor up--stating "It makes her feel like a sister instead of a girlfriend" on one occasion, and "I just feel uncomfortable with someone who isn't really tall", even though she thought my other features were "amazing and better than anyone she's ever dated", and she was 5'1" at the most.

 

These two women in particular were really nice women, too; women that I could never look at with bitterness. It's just, they didn't have enough patience to look past my height, and I simply took a loss there, because I really liked them.

 

It just hurts to be rejected in any form, let alone based on your height; something outta your control, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. But yeah, it'd be foolish to believe all women should be grouped into the same category because of a few experiences and some stupid article online. Your intentions are very good.

Ah...but M.M....thing is, these women's excuse or story is that they include their heel size as PART or extension of their ht and INCLUDE it.

 

Basically, with stilettos, women of those height come up to eye level toa 5'8" guy (or close to that) and of course is a turn off for them.

 

Speaking women around YOUR ht.

 

There was this woman, she was 6 feet tall, and HE was around 6'1" or 62"....they went out a few times, and at about the 4th date or something, she wound up wearing HEELS that night....turns out she was slightly taller than HIM in heels, and she stopped dating him because she realized she was taller than HIM in heels. LOL

That's only a minority of women and a 6'0" woman is the equivalent of a 6'6" guy. Very rare. I'm 6'2" in shoes, so the only a woman would be taller than me in heels if she's over 5'11".
