juand Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone, As i have mentioned before my ex gf broke up with me around three weeks ago and since then has not contacted me. The only times we did were when i texted her like two times to see how she was doing. The thing is that I saw her at a local sports bar around 5pm with another guy, it seemed like they were there for work but it was shady that is was at a bar and so on. When i saw her there she did not text or call me until the next day to say "JUST TO LET U KNOW I MET THAT GUY FOR WORK YEST..." what does this mean, why would she care to text me that, even tho we are no longer together and according to her she doesnt care about us anymore and has not cared to contact me once until yesterday to say that. Nkognito Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I am new here but after reading your post, I think she was trying to be considerate and might have thought you assumed she cheated or moved on that quickly. She is trying to maintain the "good girl" image. I would either not text her back or text her this: "I'm confident in your decision about the break-up & wish you all the best whom ever you're with". Leave it at that and say NOTHING else. She will either respect you and that might make her ponder. Or she will be fine with it and you didn't have to satify her ego for dumping you. Either way I would respond with what I said, if you dont respond, she will think you're upset perhaps. Regardless, she dumped you, so I would avoid bars she might go to because it wont make you or her feel any better.
