Things don't happen for any reason, there is no universal power that balances out the **** storm of a life some of us have had in the past year or so. The way I see it? Things don't "Happen" to people. Things that "Happen" are hurricanes, car accidents, tornadoes. Things that are "DONE" to people are cheating, lying, leaving with no reason. These are CONSCIOUS DECISIONS made by people. Not simply something that happens. Things don't fall apart so something better can fall together. YOU have to PUT the pieces back together. YOU have to EARN your comeback. It doesn't just befall you on the whim of some cosmic deity that is done toying with your life. Hopeless optimism created to shield us from the true extent of human selfishness, if you ask me. I'd rather keep it ****ing real.
