pratik Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Hey LS, It's been 6 months since me and my girlfriend broke up. She broke up a week before my birthday and i had to actually remind her 5 times on my birthday to wish besides speaking to her several times that day. I have maintained a strict NC for 6 months after that. I have no intentions of breaking it even for her birthday. Am i right? Because it would kill me if i get only a thank you in return.
Author pratik Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Thnx. She doesnt deserve it actually.
Angel1111 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to wish her a happy birthday. Don't do it.
Author pratik Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Thnx for the reply. Glad to know someone agrees with me. I actually am proud i have maintained a strict 6 month NC. And i have no intentions of breaking it for a gal who kept all her ex's as friends and decided to dump me and never talk to me just coz she lost faith in love and a month later being with a guy who is 25 and her turning 18 today in a FWB relationship, and she slept with, while she knew him barely a week.
Angel1111 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 She's young and dumb and needs about 5 to 10 yrs to grow up.
Author pratik Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 young dumb and a one who likes dating older men i actually was her only bf who was of her age the rest were 3 yrs elder to her. And with her current she broke her previous records by going 7 yrs.LOL!

Author pratik Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 I meant the age gap is 7 yrs between her and her current FWB guy he is 25. She normally dated guys 2-4yrs older than her.
Rooooob Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 If you're not really on good terms, don't do it.
Author pratik Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 @Roob we havent spoken at all since 6 months. So being on good terms doesnt come into account. Thnx for the reply:)
michaelc82 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Yeah no bday wishes for ex's if the break up was messsy.. My girl initiated the break up talk with me during vacation right before my bday end of July, and she didnt even get me a card or anything. It was half assed and nothing in it from her emotionally. It was her 30th bday last weekend, we were suppose to go camping/hiking together and she ended up taking her new bf she left me for on the hike we had been planning together for almost a year. Screw her... I should have mailed her a box with dog **** in it for a bday gift! Lol Edited October 3, 2010 by michaelc82
Citizen Erased Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The last person I would have wanted wishing me a happy birthday is my ex.
Author pratik Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) @ Michael Man I'm sorry, I feel for you. Though it would have been a pretty incredible to see her face when she would have opened a box with dog****, One to be framed and kept for years and to brag about it to friends. Hey look i had send something so very special to my ex on her 30th birthday. LOL! Edited October 3, 2010 by pratik

Wow, that stinks. Sorry that happened to you, michael.
Author pratik Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 @Citizen. True. But my ex is kinda a person who feels good if her ex's wish her on her birthday. Trust me i don't want her to get that feeling of good when she wrecked my birthday. I'm sorry i might come out to everyone as a cold bastard, but post break up i really tried to be nice she got mean, even giving her a surprise party for her last year when she had gone through a break up.(though we weren't dating that time we were best friends). I didn't deserve a heartbroken 18th birthday while she was getting high, doping and banging some guy she barely knows. Thnx for the reply mate:)
stopthemadness Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I say dont do it. I was dumb dumb and I did. We were broke up bout 2 months. On his bday I emailed him. Now I am so sorry I did. In the next few days he came by my house and guess what? Nothing changed he was still an ass. He still didnt want to be in a relationship. He still didnt think it was right to have sex untell your married( we did it for many years) bout 7 months ago started this crap! And I was doing so good on N/C it had been 27 days. Now I have to start all over. Am on day 4 of N/C. Its time for me and you to move on..........good luck. We can do it(smile)
Username37 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Why would you wish Happy Birthday to someone who quit on you? (I assume she did) **** her man. She doesn't deserve your words. I made that damn mistake and I wish I could go back and stop myself, but what's done is done now. I least I have a story to tell when someone asks "Should I wish my ex happy birthday?"
Sambo Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hey LS, It's been 6 months since me and my girlfriend broke up. If you have to ask this question then you have to stay NC because you are not done healing yet. STAY NO CONTACT
Author pratik Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) @all Thnx for your replies. I haven't wished her and the day is over here. @stopthemadness i feel you gal. We can and we will. I have been good for close to 6 months of NC and I'm proud of myself. Stick to your ground and you would go through it very well. I broke my NC too on the first attempt exactly after 27 days like you. But since then NC has been my moto. I just get the jitters every now and then an urge to talk to her but that will heal with time:) @Sambo what you said is true and I don't denie it I'm not over her completely because she was my first gf so I guess this would take time. I'm up for it and I'm sticking my ground i just needed some support which i got here. Thnx for your help buddies. Edited October 3, 2010 by pratik
