Tiberius Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Are you in a relationship where you feel the gender roles are reversed between you and him? And if so in what way?
Author Tiberius Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Like my gf is taller (i am not short though) bodybuilds is more muscular and stronger and is a black belt in martial arts. I on the other hand did Yoga since I am 4, so I weigh less than her. (am flexible though). In bed for example the traditional roles are pretty much reversed, she likes being the active/dominant one. In other aspects too, like she likes being protective and prefers to impress over being impressed. I wondered if other women are in relationships, where the gender roles are reversed in some way, like him being the homemaker and she the breadwinner, or she being the powerlifter and he not so much, or she being into martial arts and he being the calmer type of guy. Well something like that.

Well something like that. I'm like you in that my gf is the same height as me - 5'10". This is a new thing. When we walk she sometimes puts her arm around my shoulder and I put mine around her waist. The first time it happened, it freaked me out 'cause I equate it with being protective. Now, I'm used to it and it's all good.
Author Tiberius Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 Do you think it will last, or do you think most girls will want more of an equal or better over time?
Ruby Slippers Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I haven't been in a relationship like that, but I just met a couple that I think have that dynamic somewhat, and they've been together for 5 years. And I just thought of another one that's been together a few years and are married. In this relationship, the woman wouldn't have it any other way. She's got control freak tendencies, and he's more passive and people pleasing, so they seem pretty comfortable with the situation. If it's what both of you want and you're good together, then it can be great.
