LostInTurn Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I was a watching a show this evening, and something someone said stuck with me: "Life is a series of rooms, and who we get stuck with in the rooms with, adds up to who our lives are"
Sonolumino Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Gotta love House. Damn good episode too, poor girl was raped. And I believe there's a lot of truth to that. It's a simplistic view on life, but the analogy fits nicely. You can't regret who you get stuck in those rooms with either, just deal with the circumstances.
cavedweller Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 LostInTurn, Life ain't nothing but a poker game. (take some time and think about what I just wrote here) cavedweller
TheUnthoughtKnown Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Life is a series of metaphors. I like that one. I can't really think of any analogies between life and love, and no clever metaphors spring to mind. Life is just hard. Thats all. No more, no less. If you make the best of it, good for you. If not...:/
Crusoe Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Life is just hard. Thats all. No more, no less. If you make the best of it, good for you. If not...:/ Life is a state of mind, as easy or as hard as you choose it to be.
