I met my girlfriend 3 years ago. we have lived together for 2. We also have a male friend staying on a bed in the living room of our 1 bed apt for the past 2 months. Shortly after I meet my girlfriend I had a horrible experience inside a hospital where I hallucinated. This will come into play later.

 

In the beginning everything was great, except for kissing a few guys at a party once and then telling me about it that next day. But now it seems we only fight. She accuses me of yelling, and she's right. I admit I have been temperamental. It seems every time we talk I end up screaming when I get upset and insulting her(which doesn't help things).

I try to stay calm, but when we do talk she acts like she did nothing wrong and doesn't like to apologize. When she does apologize for something it is sarcastic. Or she apologizes by saying, "I'm Sorry you feel that way." She also gets upset when I mention something that she's already apologized for and say I'm throwing it in her face.

For example, 2 years ago I caught her in the bedroom watching a porn with my little brother, fully clothed, just watching, but she tried to minimize the page and hide it from me. She said she wasn't watching one and that she didn't try to hide it. She apologized tho and promised me she'd never do it again.

This past weekend I went to visit family while she stayed home to work. During this visit with my family I accidentally hit my head and I've started having flashbacks from when I was in the hospital, I also now have occasionally hallucination threw out the day.

Now, I come home to hear she's watched a Thriller movie titled, Donkey Punch, and what I consider a porn with the male friend who sleeps in the living room. I was disappointed, but not upset entirely, she apologizes I forgave her for it and didn't yell or anything about it.

The next night, my best friend is over and they decide to go for a walk, clear her head, have a friend to talk to. She leaves at 11:30, I don't see her again until 3:45 A.M. Nearly 4 hours later. I had started looking for her 2 hours earlier. I never found them. She said they were in apt complex center garden buildings. I believe her, but I found it funny, because I walked into everyone of them looking for them twice and never found, saw, or heard them.

I admit I was upset at these two insidents happened, and I confronted her about them. I told her, I trust you, I believe you, but please stop putting herself in these situations where I could come out under the impression that you are cheating. She didn't want to hear it. She said that I'm accusing her of cheating and that she already apologized about the two incidents, and I'm throwing them back in her face. I've tried to explain multiply times that she just needs to not put herself in those situations, atleast to comfort me, but she says she can't do that because I'm accusing her of cheating?

 

Afterward she decides we should take a "Break" where she goes and visits her family with our living room friend, while I stay home to gather my thoughts. I'm for the idea of taking a break, but I didn't want her going with the people she was going with. After a while I consented on the condition that she calls me as soon a she arrives. They leave at 3 pm. It is a 12 hour drive to her parents home. I don't hear from her until 28 hours later. After she has arrived went to another town and came back.

She explains to me that the reason she didn't call was because she didn't have a phone and she forgot. The two guys she left with both had a phone, I even got an awnswer on a butt anwser a couple times.

I don't know if I can trust her, was I even right to trust her to begin with?

I don't know what to do. I love her but I feel like she's slipping away and nothing I do helps.

My friend, do you really need to have a piano fall on your head to understand that she is cheating on you with this guy? If the roles were reversed would she put up with the type of behavior that you have been accepting? Her actions are so trashy. She is playing you for a complete fool. It is clear that she has no respect for you whatsoever. Get away from this toxic woman and find someone else. She is screwing right under your nose. Enough is enough! You deserve better. Tell her a break is a fantastic idea!! In fact, tell her this matter should be reconvened in the year 2110 to see if she feels you two should work things out...
