lonelyromantic Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, this is my first post, and I'm sorry it's such a negative one. I had a friend whom I had known since we were probably about 7 years old. Everything was ok - then I got diagnosed with clinical Depression, went onto the antidepressants, and ok I became somewhat down and unhappy for a while. But I was never offensive towards her or talked to her about suicide or anything over the top like this. Nevertheless, she decided at this point she basically didn't want anything to do with me anymore. I sort of thought friends, especially those who'd been around for so long, were meant to stick by you when you needed them the most. I'm not quite sure whether to allow myself to make new friends now, because how do I know whether this is going to happen again...?
