Love2473 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Their is this shy guy in my grade & he asked me out on IM, my friend said that's a huge step for him cz his extremly shy. I then hanged out with him in the break & he just about passed out, he was blushing so much he looked like a tomatoe & could barely talk. So i'm really excited about going on a date with him & out of nowhere he asks 2 other friends to come with. I went to the friend & asked what the hell is wrong with him, cz he knew i liked the guy. & He said that my date begged him to come cz his nervous out of his mind. Tomorrow im going out with the guy (hopefully alone). We both like eachother, So i just want us to be together already but i know i have to take it slow with him. How Am i supposed to go out with a shy guy when i am so outgoing? im sooo frustrated with his shyness!

Annyway you could be the one who takes charge of the situation, like tell his friends you 2 are going to continue the evening on your own. If you are alone, take the lead and strike up a conversation and keep it up, he will warm up. If you dont like being the one in charge like that, maybe a shy guy isnt for you. How Am i supposed to go out with a shy guy when i am so outgoing? im sooo frustrated with his shyness! hey, this isn't so bad... You just need to step up and assert yourself and take the lead, and he will be fine. Once you convince him that you HONESTLY want to be there, in his company, and alone, he will (be pleasantly surprised, but finally confident) It doesn't sound as though he is misleading you with the "shy" factor, and two people with all cards on the table can usually make a go of anything.
