wellgreat Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 He is friends with all my friends, and I think they are 'taking his side' in the break up. I feel terrible that I broke up with him since before the relationship we were friends... and now, I've ruined everything. I am so lost. Any advice, at all?
KraftDinner Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 How old are you? You sound more concerned about losing your friends than losing him. They weren't really good friends to begin with if they ditch you over this.
Author wellgreat Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 I'd rather not say how old I am and I suppose I didn't provide much information.. I only was ever really in a relationship with him because of the pressure that he put on me. He has been friends with them longer than me, and I really like them but they have this whole "must take man's side because we are men" thing, you know. Also the one I actually have feelings for is among those friends, and in this situation I am the horrible person who broke his heart so there's not much they can do... Sorry, I'm a first time poster, don't quite know if I'm doing it right.
TaraMaiden Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 What were your reasons for breaking up with him? if there was pressure on you to be going out with him, then your heart wasn't really in it. You shouldn't feel pressurised into doing anything. Anything at all. if you don't sincerely love someone, then going out with them is a sham..... What is your main regret about going out with him? What is your main regret in breaking up with him?
