Caradavine Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Didn't there used to be a time when marriage was valued and sacred to some point? Wasn't there the belief that you worked it out instead of just jumping ship and finding someone else? What the heck is wrong with people? I can understand failed experiments, but when it is true from the start and then just goes rotten, don't we know enough about human nature and psychology to deal with it instead of running away? What the heck!
Ajax Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Though I've never beem married, I look forward to finding that person to whom I can make that commitment. Granted, I thought I had and it didn't turn out that way. But In my family there have been no divorces. And for the most part, the marriages are all happy and strong. I hope to continue that tradition. Too many people give up too easily. I also think that too many people jump into marriage though, and that has something to do with the divorce rate.
