steammachine Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 So yeah, relationship lasted 1 and half years. We were both very much into each other, and both our first loves. We ended things yesterday on a mutual level, we were both young and knew that being single was the best thing for both of us. We both always wished to have been much older when meeting each other and came to the conclusion that we needed to be single and that our relationship will suffer if we continued to be together. We both discussed No Contact and both know its the best way to go. So yeah, thats where we are at. I just needed to tell people, its hard to tell people that we are broken up.

But kudos to you and your ex for being strong enough to make the best decision for the both of you...at the time of my first real breakup, I kept asking myself, "how could she do this to me"...but now, I'm forever grateful that she was strong enough to make the right choice and leave...I think we're both in a much better place now... I know I am...
Leandro Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Well I'm glad it was mutual. My first love left me last month for another guy. I agree it's probably what's best for the both of us. We're still very young. NC is going to be hard but it'll get easier as time goes on.
