Nikki Sahagin Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 To those unfamiliar with my story, one of my friends (not a particularly close one but a friend all the same) gossiped/lied/exaggerated to either someone else or my ex directly and because of that he said he didn't want to know me anymore (he believed it without even taking it up with me in a mature way.) I'm going to be seeing this girl tomorrow. Should I confront her? Or should I just let it go and never say anything around her again that she could twist into gossip? It wouldn't change things between me and my ex and she is pretty much out of my life. I'm not good with confrontation either. What do you think?
leftfield Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Does she know that you know she gossiped? Maybe she will bring it up herself out of guilt. If not then just don't worry about it, if it won't change anything between you and your ex and you don't really care about his perception of you then just see what happens and try not to get too hung up about it.
