flow15 Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 What do these books say? I've been on so many of these websites, but I have never proceeded to purchase them as I don't trust the websites. It's annoying though because it tells you what 'first move' to make with your ex, for example telling them that you accept the break up and agree with them, but then it tells you that in order to find out the next steps to take you have to purchase the book. So, to anyone who has purchased the book, what are the next steps to take? Have u followed these steps, did they work? Or if you are nice enough could you message/email me the actual ebook?? Thank you!
CaliGuy Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Crap, junk, trash. Is that good enough for you? If you want to know what to do when you're "pining" for a second chance, read the link in my signature. For those who really want a second chance ask yourself "If they didn't love, respect or value me the first time, what makes me think they'll love, respect or value me a second time?!" Food for thought.
PixieStix Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 They are junk. The best "next step" you can take is to get them out of your life As hard as it is now, you will not get better until you just walk away 100% and move on.
Billie The Puppet Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I only ever purchased one and although it made me feel like it was obtainable as it is really well written and actually makes a lot of sense as to why I lost my ex it will not get your ex back for you. These are written very well and help boost your confidence etc but they are all easily available information from people right here on these forums. Don Ho actually uses a line I heard in the e-book I purchased : He who cares least controls the relationship (The ebook I purchased was written specifically for males who lost their girlfriends.) Mine had 6 Phases: 1. Understanding why your relationship ended (This section actually was extremely helpful for me because it all rang true with my case) Don Ho's wording You became a pussy (This info is available for free on here) 2. End all contact with your ex until they contact you first. LS equivalent No Contact and I would go further and say keep no contact until the contact that actually has been made is of importance 3. Rid yourself of neediness and insecurities (neediness comes naturally with No Contact Insecurity does too if you truly stick to proper No contact) 4. Creating fear of loss LS equivalent is to move on date other people etc. 5. The meetup (They say that 4 will lead into 5 but it is not always the case) 6. make up sex (5 will lead into 6 but again not always the case) All e-books are rather easily available information in fact all mine could have been found on LS if I just listened to Don Ho's replies lol. I'm currently still on phase 2, and 4. I have rid my self of neediness and insecurities, I don't need my ex to live but I still want her.

My ex boyfriend broke up with me 3 weeks ago now. At first I was crying down the phone to him, emailing him, text messaging him... trying to convince him that he's wrong and making a mistake. He began to ignore me and it started to hit me I couldn't change his mind. Then I started googling h'ow to get your ex back' and found all these e-books and wasn't sure if they were worth it or not. I took their advice of 'agreeing with the break up', so I told my ex sorry for trying to convince him to change his mind, I've realised now they made the right decision etc.. and that I'm going to leave him alone now. I've gone NC for a week now.... However I didn't purchase the ebook so didn't know what next step to take! I'm like you now, I have got rid of my neediness now and I am not so emotional and upset, however I still want him to miss me and to want to get in contact with me and to want me back! I hope this NC works! and if not at least I know it will help me move on

As most people on here will tell you, the only way a second chance can ever work is if you have moved on and put the past and everything that happened between the two of you behind you. It takes time. Hang in there.
12yearsin Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 The next thing you should do is GAL (get a life) hang out with friends. Take up a new hobby anything but think about the ex. Try working on your physical and mental self.. give it a month or shorter and you will see results.
