dave22 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 About a month a go I was on vacation and met this girl. We seemed to have immediate chemistry and even though we were only able to spend a day together we exchanged email addresses and phone numbers and agreed to stay in touch. Over the past couple of weeks we have exchanged emails or text messages most days and have talked on the phone a couple of times. Everything I have learned about her has been great and it seems she may think so too. Although we haven't really talked about it yet, I am hoping this will eventually turn into something more serious. The thing is, we live a long ways away (about a 4 hour plane ride) and so I have no idea about what I would be getting myself into. It does seem it will have to take a lot of patience as it will probably take a lot longer to get to know her given the limited opportunities to spend time together. Any advice?
LisaLee Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Make plans to meet up with her again, but in the meantime Skype is a good alternative to texting/emailing, etc.
folieadeux Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 (edited) I think you already have a good foundation going here seeing as you both have continued to maintain contact. Distance is hard, but it can most definitely be done if you both want it…don’t let that scare you. I would recommend talking to her about any free time she may have in the future (should be easier with the holidays coming up) and getting a plan together as soon as you both are able. Best of luck!
