Do We Tend To Think That We Are More Attractive Than We Really Are?

Hmm, I thought understanding myself better would make things better. But, apparently realizing that Im ugly can actually have such a crushing impact on my confidence.

 

it's just how confident you're feeling in your physical attraction/perception

It is said that you can appraise how you look the most accurately when you are depressed because the better your mood is, the higher you rate yourself.

I was born unnatractive; I had deformed teeth.

 

After 2 sets of braces I have normal teeth; they r straight but not prefect or nice.

 

With good eyebrow waxing and a healthy diet and fitness regieme, not to mention my impeccible style and knowing how to dress to flatter my body, I am about a 6 - 7 without any make up.

 

Perhaps a 7.

 

I have a good body shape - hour glass with large breasts, but a flat stomach.

 

But my face, with the help of braces, is not pretty enough to make me an over all 8.

 

HOWEVER...

 

I have very long eye lashes; but they r straight nagturally.

 

WITHOUT any make up, I am 6/10.

 

If I have no make up, other than curling my lashes and putting mascara on...

 

THEN I am an 8 to some people.

 

But naked, with no make up, I am a 6, or a 7 if I am very lucky.

 

And a 7 - 8 TOPS in my daily life - the way every one sees me ( which is with mascara and curled eye lashes!).

I'm a 4 but unlike my peers I don't have an ex or kids that someone with me would have to deal with thus making me a functional 7. Because I'm a church goer to that population I become an 8.

 

My wife's a hard 7 but because she was a single mother in her home culture she was a functional 3 unacceptable as a proper wife. So she left her country since only widowers or men looking for a mistress would approach when finding out about her son.
