worlybear Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Help. I am stuck in a never ending circle of anger and am struggling to shrug it off. Whilst looking for a teaching job I opened several school websites, including my STBXH'S school. It was like dej-vu. I discovered that he has known he had a full time job since April (refused to let me know). The school reports/news/ even the kids are eerily the same to what he walked away from. HIS stepdaughter has obviously settled in nicely,thank you. OUR daughter will have to move from her school AGAIN as soon as I find a full-time job. I just want to know why, when he and OW have created all this upheaval.... they are benefiting from it! Where's the wonderful karma to protect my daughter ? We have no stability in our current situation and its looking likely that we will have to move away from her new friends so I can get f/t work. She has no contact with him (her choice) at the moment. I'm obviously doing this all wrong- I should have already targeted a MM (preferably with kids) at her current school, broken up his marriage and family and moved on to a great new life with him and my daughter. WHY? WHY do cheaters come out on top? WHY can't there be some karma for bad actions- really losing it BIGTIME here!!!
onthebrinkofitall Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 This is probably no consolation right now but other people have been where you're at. Sometimes it takes years for karma to bite people in the rump. It's took FOUR years for my ex [my childrens' father] to get bitten by the karma bug. I won't go into that story because the details really don't matter.. it's the point that it eventually happened. Sometimes it takes a long time.. just remember life happens to everyone and he's no exception. I know it's hard to be patient.. believe me, I know.. but try punching a pillow if you get extremely angry. Pretend it's his face and just take it all out on the pillow. Maybe this isn't the healthiest solution but it helps me feel better! Good luck to you and keep posting!

They get to go on with their lives and we are left picking up the pieces of our shattered lives and hearts. I feel for you. My ex has happily moved on and I'm seeking therapy, taking meds and reading sh*tloads of self help books. In reality, my ex needs the self help books and therapy. He's the one with the issues. Giving up an 8 year relationship to be with a young college girl who is a groupie of the band he's in. A real piece of trash I've been told by many people. He's going through some phase where he's reverting back to his college days. It's time to grow up, Dude! Hopefully my ex's karma will be a nice festering STD. Am I bitter, you bet, but he'll get his. You have to be patient and just keep on keeping on, girl!

There must be something in the air because my STBXH left me.. now all he's doing is playing open mics and waiting tables.. going out to bars all the time with friends.. probably banging some hoochie that adores the way he plays guitar [just like I used to!]. And I'm just like, wtf.. you're not 21 anymore. Apparently they can't handle growing up! When I get really mad, I just think to myself.. one day he's gonna be that 50 year old barfly hitting on 25 year old women.. and it'll be pathetic.
