We broke up last Saturday after nearly 3 years. We both loved each other bu were arguing over petty things. She started a new job and was stressed, and I was unhappy because she was unhappy. It was a mutual seperation, but she said never say never about getting back together.

I told her I was gonna delete her off my facebook, she said she didn't like the idea but understood & asked if I wanted to go for a drink somtime soon. I said it wasn't the best idea and was better to wait when we were both over eCh other.

I texted her the other night, she asked if I was gonna drop her things round soon, we had a laugh about it, then I Asked her about that drink, she said yes.

I still love her, and want her back, but don't know if I'm wasting my

time.

Any ideas?

Play it a bit differently and I think you do have a good chance, but don't fall straight back into her arms. I don't think asking her for that drink was a good idea. Let it come from her (I think it will). Act a bit cooler and make her miss you, it's better than being like an excited puppy who is waiting for it's owner to take it a walk!! Go off and do some stuff on your own, while saying to her that whilst you love her, you respect her decision to break up, this space will make you see if you really want her back, and also will make her seriously miss you if she's going to. It works better then being to eager I think. You have to get the attraction levels back up (hers for you) and this is the way. Good luck it sounds promising if she wants to go for a drink but MAKE HER WORK for you mate (and I am a girl). :)

Thanks for the reply, Appreciate it.

She said she'd contact me this week about going for the drink? Should I go for it? Or play it off for a bit?
