Maybe I should start picking some lottery numbers :-P

Last week I woke up and had a very unsettled feeling in me that I hadn't felt in quite a while. It was like I felt something was wrong, and it was similar to the feelings I had waking up in the days after my breakup. The day just didn't feel right, and I started wondering what my ex was up to, wondering what it would be like if he had a new girlfriend.

And lo and behold, two days later, I found out I was right and he is indeed in a new relationship! Funny thing is I had this same feeling months ago after we broke up, thinking he had a new girlfriend, and then the day after I had this feeling, I found out he had a new girlfriend/left me for someone else.

Has anyone else had this experience of their body giving them subtle clues that they're ex is in a new relationship? Is our body somehow in tune with our ex in a crazy way? I just find it interesting.

Though not as interesting as how my ex has a new girlfriend just 3 weeks after being bummed about finding out that his ex (girl he left me for) has a new boyfriend, since he'd been waiting for her all summer and thought they might get back together when they reunited. And I'm pretty sure his new girlfriend is someone he's only known for a few weeks.

Hmm. Interesting stuff.

Yep, sure have!

(but then again, I *am* psychic)

When my ex called to break up with me, a voice in my mind screamed 'There's someone else!', and I knew it was right.

I had stayed off FB for a month, until I had a dream about him and when I woke up, that voice again screamed 'Check his FB!' So I did. He had changed his relationship status the day before to 'In a Relationship'

I've since blocked him on FB. But sometimes, I will cry for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. It's at these times I'm convinced that he's f*cking his new girl. Not pleasant.

There's more, but that's the major stuff.

It sucks.

Yup! This just happened to me actually. For a few weeks, I'd been feeling like my STBXH was up to something.. so one day, I went through his phone and saw he'd been talking to his ex-gf. When I asked him if he'd been talking to her, he lied and said no. But I already knew the truth.

I think it's called intuition.. and when you're with someone for so long, you know who they are.. unfortunately!

I have told my self numerous times that the ex is going to contact me today and on those days the ex did exactly that. Not that it helped me at all as she is still an Ex-Fiancé that I would like to reconcile with but I recognize that chances are at 0%. I had to restart No Contact this past Saturday after misreading signs from limited contact of 6 weeks that I acted on making my situation worse. I told her not to contact me in an email (other than a reply to that email if she wishes) She hasn't as of yet and hasn't contacted me either. I expect she won't try to contact me for 2 weeks now.

Very interesting but how many of us had that feeling and nothing happened?

I believe that I have had some connection to my significant others and could key in on how they're feeling, such as today I felt that my ex was missing me (not a lot but some, haven't felt that since we broke up), but this is probably wishful thinking.

Many of us will think we may hear from out significant other on a particular day and nothing happens....it'd be funny to hear some stories of when the reverse happened.

Hmm, that's interesting! For me, my ex has always contacted me when I wasn't thinking about them at all (usually random spurts of minutes, since my ex is always on my mind at least once an hour... but at least now it's just kind of an annoyance rather than sadness). What happened to your ex fiance? She may contact you before or after those 2 weeks, it depends on how urgent her business is and why she was emailing you.

That's true, but you did have the advantage of being in close proximity with your ex, and possibly being able to see him on a weekly basis... My ex and I are back at school, so he's a good few hours away from me and I really don't see him at all, but I still felt that feeling like he had someone. Not like I had anything to read off of, except facebook :-P

How would you be able to tell though? Ask the ex if they'd been thinking of us? Haha, I'd love to be able to ask that question... and then hear some interesting stories rather than "No" :D
