guy.lepage
Personally, I find hand touching one of the more subtle and sexy ways to touch someone. Whether it is to grab my attention, to thank me or to say goodbye, light hand touching is quite powerful. Do you agree?
bac
It is fine only if I am in rapport with the guy. It is especially unpleasant when a guy tries to do it on the first/second date.
Feelin Frisky
Depends on how it's done. I don't like to have my hand tugged or prodded. Soft-touch is totally the opposite. Sometimes hand touching is awkward if no one goes for it first. If I like the female I'm with on occasion I've held my hand out with the palm facing her--finger tips pointing upwards. If she gives me a high five I take it that it ain't happening. If she puts her palm against mine then the next thing is gentely inter-locking fingers. If she does nothing and says what the eff are you doing? I'd tell her "I'm testing you and you just flunked". LOL

Allisha
Depends on where her hand is touching. Wondered how long it'd take for someone dirty minded like you to come along!
Author guy.lepage
Depends on where her hand is touching. Funny! In my original question I meant her hand touching my hand in some ways.

spiderowl
It's very powerful. If a man reaches out and touches my hand, I take it personally in that I know he wants to make contact on that level. I suppose it depends on context. If I had just told him my cat had died, then I would take such a gesture as compassionate rather than romantic. In a different setting, it would be intimate, signalling a desire to be closer and romantically involved. I would need to use my intuition to figure out whether he was looking for a short-term 'romantic' involvement or something more committed. I think taking someone's hand is a very ancient and intimate gesture. You only need to watch a Jane Austen film to see that. It's also a little more formal than putting an arm round someone and maybe suggests sincerity and respect. I rather like it. Edited September 5, 2010 by spiderowl

I got to hold someone's hand romantically for the first time a few days ago. My answer is yes. It's just a nice feeling and gesture of closeness. Not only that, it was exciting that he took my hand when I offered it. Gives me hope. :3 Edited September 5, 2010 by GooseChaser
threebyfate
You know you've got a winner in a guy if when you sensually stroke his hand, he gets rigid. After a few minutes of this, his hand starts to thrash around and finally, throb. At this point, he yells "OH MY GOD", collapses, rolls over and falls asleep.
