I know they cheat and lie and I'll even admit to being a little amazed at how good some people are at this, but besides that what makes a MM/MW more amazing then anyone else? I could make a list, if I believed you were serious in your question, but suffice to say my H is the only person on the planet who succeeded in convincing me not only that love existed (beyond just being a hallucination caused by a hormone rush) but that I would - could, and did - fall in love. To convert the world's greatest skeptic takes some doing.
waterlove Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 To be with a MM/MW you must find the other person to be amazing.....otherwise, why would you want to be with someone that is essentially unavailable? There has to be something about that person that you are really attracted to...perhaps its the sexual compatibility, the emotional closeness you feel with that person, how they make you feel, or how they respond to you...the feeling of being appreciated/loved/desireable is very addicting. That could make you describe that other person as amazing. Perhaps you never had such compatibility wth someone before....sure, everyone has faults, no one is perfect! But if you feel love for someone you tend to look past those things, especially if you are on the receiving end of their love and attention. Just the way things are. I am with a MM that I find amazing because I've never been with anyone that I had this level of sexual compatibility with. So if I find him amazing, and I do, its because of all the endorphins kicking around in my brain! Just being honest here. Lol....I have noticed that a lot of the OW/OM describe their MM/MW as being amazing people. This sounds odd to me. I mean I haven't met many people that I would call amazing. You know sometimes you meet someone and you think that they are nothing special and then you get to know them and come to find out that they have a side to them that is pretty special. Or the flip side. You meet someone that you think is just wonderful but when you get to know them you see that they have issues and faults just like everyone else. People are just people and I don't find anyone all that amazing. I think people can behave in amazing ways given a specific set of circumstances. Like if I got stranded in the wilderness all by myself and I managed to survive for months by building a shelter with my bare hands and I ate by hunting my own food, well that would be freaking amazing!! Lol...mainly because I'm a city girl and I've hardly even camped. People can do amazing things but I don't think anyone walks around being amazing all the time. So what makes MM/MW amazing?
