I was thinking the other day about past relationships, what made them fail, and when did I know the things that ultimately made the relationship fail...

I don't mean, when did I know the relationship was failing...

I mean, when did I know the things that eventually killed the relationship.

And I realized that in each case I knew what the basic issues were within the first two months of dating the person!

He has a temper, he's really boring, I'm not that physically attracted to him, he flirts a lot, he drinks a lot...whatever the reason, there were enough clues within those first two months that in retrospect I SHOULD have been able to end them a lot sooner than I did.

So was just curious what other people's experiences were. If you're honest, when you look back at relationships that did not make it, did you deep down realize what was going to kill it very early on, even if you did not think it important at the time?
