I do not believe that people should make decisions based on it, but, whose to say that some of it doesn't have any meaning to it.

I believe in God, but, no one can actually prove that he exists, or doesn't exist for that matter.

No one really knows.

And that would be...?

No need to worry.

So you prefer women who can't spell?

I can't understand why anyone would take astrology seriously. It's as bad as believing in the Easter Bunny and Rudolph. All three are fun but that's about as far as it goes.

This is based on what period of time you're born that defines your fate, where realistically speaking, you're in control of your own life through your daily decisions.

Make smart choices and you won't end up having to see some hokey-pokey mojo madame to create a fake destiny for you.

You cannot prove that the Easter Bunny doesn't exist.:p

You need to distinguish between using astrology to 'predict the future' and using it to understand your personality. I don't put much weight on predictive astrology, but I've found it to be incredibly helpful in helping me understand myself and other people. But again, just looking at your sun sign isn't enough; you really need to see your whole chart (which is easy to generate for free on lots of websites). That's why many people will read about their sun sign and say, "Some of it seems right, but some of it doesn't" -- they aren't taking into account the effect of the moon and planets.

One reason I became interested in astrology is that it seems so universally reviled by both the left ("it's not 'scientific') and the right ("it's blasphemous"). I figure if everyone is against it, there must be something interesting to it. And I have yet to meet anyone who claims that astrology is nonsense who knows their ascendant or can tell me if they have any squares in their chart.

I agree, it seems to come with astounding accuracy when it comes to describing a person, at times...but the prediction factor has never proven to be correct in my experience and just flat out silly, actually...but who knows, some have possibly witnessed differently I guess...

It's when the magazines and newspapers get specific with short paragraphs about your sign...thats when it's all just b.s. and there for a good laugh...kind of like fortune cookies...lol.
