Dude! John Mayer songs KILL me! These are songs that are supposed to make us feel BETTER, not WORSE! Hahahahaha sorry my ex loves John Mayer and whenever I hear one of his songs I think of the a**hole. John Mayer is def. an incredible song writer, though. Too bad my ex had to ruin all his music for me. Someday, I'm sure I'll be able to appreciate his songs again.

Sorry :(, I posted for myself in response to the title of this thread.

I like John Mayer's music, and he has a beautiful voice, though def not my favorite.

You will. :)

Haha well those songs allowed me to feel the sadness of the breakup, you need that sometimes. And anything Johnny Hartman does I'm a fan of haha.

How about (to make us feel better):

Lush Life - Johnny Hartman - I have no idea why, but this song cheers me up

I'm not a big fan of country, but:

Life ain't always beautiful - Gary Allen

IDK if its already been mentioned but I heard 'Say Goodbye' by Madonna on the radio last night. The whole idea of my ex putting on a show - not just for me - is in this song.

I heard this song driving back from school the other night, drives can be so therapeutic at times... anyhow I heard this song, and even though I normally don't listen to this artist, the words of this song and the beat of it (because it wasn't so mellow) came with a good exhale...

I didn't want to, but I did. I faced my fears. I've been running from this song. I think about it and I'm like oh no, I can't even hear that right now, But I just did right now.

Sigh, It's all going to be alright.

Classic. So many covers of this song.

I love this also, its by a young British guy. Newton Faulkner. But it seems to be my biography, uncanny how some songs just talk to you. Aging Superhero.
