BlackLovely Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Hey that's my song!! I have that quote of the song as my signature in profile, hmmm does it show? No response to my post? Humph, not nice.
boosh Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 (edited) Snuff by Slipknot. The lyrics pretty much cover how one feels immediately following a breakup, then accepting it as time passes, and finally to healing and moving past is. It's an incredibly emotional, moving song from a band that never really did a song like that. The video is somewhat strange. Music starts at 1:06 Edited September 5, 2010 by boosh
leftfield Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Hey that's my song!! I have that quote of the song as my signature in profile, hmmm does it show? Hmm, I honestly didn't notice that actually, ha ha. Or maybe I saw it but it didn't register in my addled brain. Top tune though!

Author LoveTNT Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 No response to my post? Humph, not nice. Lovely! Didn't notice. I enjoy all types of music. But I really don't like metal. I love radiohead, portishead, the helio sequence, my morning jacket, phoenix, Peter bj, chicago, usher, Stevie wonder( can't here that now though) etc...
Thorgs Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 For some reason, the slower more soothing songs bring me peace. Here's a good one; Pink - Glitter in the Air http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3stsDXki__U&ob=av3e
Thorgs Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Here's another amazing song. Even though I know there's no hope left, it still makes me happy. Blake Shelton - Austin
Thorgs Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 one is all you need to no about love or this one

rebeccamay Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Love Bites Def Leopard and my ultimate fave you absolutely have to listen to it. Tesla Love Song. It is my break up anthem!
leftfield Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 This one is so horribly honest, especially from the point of view of a normal English bloke, but the lyrics are heartbreaking anyway. I can't really decide whether this is a pick you up song or something to wallow in, maybe a bit of both http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHOf3s70w-c The Streets - Dry Your Eyes.

I mentioned in one of my other posts, I went to a music festival with my ex (dumb idea I know) and one morning she put on a top that had "I Love Me" written on the front of it. I was a little taken aback by it, but I thought it did seem appropriate for the way she was acting. Anyway, what I didn't mention before was that I put on my Radiohead t-shirt in response to it. It just quotes one of the opening lines from 15 Steps... "You used to be alright, what happened" Quite a poignant opening to that song actually: How come I end up where I started How come I end up where I went wrong Won't take my eyes off the ball again First you reel me out, and then you cut the string

skydiveaddict Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I would be careful about posting copyrighted lyrics. Tony just shut down a thread because of that a few days ago. Might be better just to post a link to the song
