PegNosePete Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 So... I came home from work today... and what did I find on my doormat... STBXW's bank statement. Now I did debate the morality of opening it or not. The little red PegNosePete sitting on my left shoulder told me to open it, and the little white PegNosePete on my right shoulder told me ... screw it I'm with him on this one. Several milliseconds later the envelope was in pieces on the floor. And what an interesting read! The first thing I checked was naturally, whether she is still seeing OM... seems not... he lives a long way away, her car has a small tank, so there'd certainly be petrol charges from near his area if she were going there. Seems she has gone away almost every weekend though, and some very strange transactions from Poundland in Willenhall... nowhere near where she is staying, and no other transactions anywhere near that, just 3 transactions a week apart. Weirdness! Over £100 spends each at Ann Summers and La Senza... guess she's not cutting down on those little luxuries then! Another £100 at a Sony Centre, and another £100 at Halfords. Wow she is spending big, that is 1/3 of her salary right there. All in all, she seems to be financially screwing herself over. She left here at the end of July with over £2000 in her account, she's paying no rent or bills, and at the end of August she was overdrawn. She spent £400 more than she earned last month. I'm certainly glad I'm not financing that any more! Today is a good day
