rs.dallaire Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Let's say I go on a decent date and want to express that I had a good time. Would it be too much to say I had a wonderful evening? Or would using the word 'lovely' be a bit flirtatious?
Philetus Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I had a 'wonderful evening' or I had a 'lovely evening'. Both are fine, IMO.
Star Gazer Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 "What's the best way to say you had a good time?" Umm... is this a trick question? "I had a really good time." ?? Ain't rocket science, but I'll be here all day...
TuesGirl Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I always reiterate the "thanks" part since on the first date they usually pay for food or beers or something. If the check was split, then I just say, "It was fun hanging out with you, hope you have a great (whatever the next day is) tomorrow."
Dante311 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 "I had fun with you tonight and would like to see you again."
jadedone Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 How about "the condoms are in the top drawer"
