Meaplus3 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Ok. I've been bothered by a new symptom.. LOL. I wake up sneezing.. with a cough and tired burning eyes. This sounds like allergies to me. However, I've had fatigue. I know I'm not anemic.. and all of my other labs are normal.. so can allergies cause bad fatigue?? Anyone know? Mea:)

Mea:) Allergies can definitely cause fatigue and other cold like symptoms. I don't envy you...

Dry red eyes and stuffy nose.. I might be. I have the dry tired itchy eyes.. sneezing and feel tired.. and it's not a cold. Does that sound like hayfever? Mea:)
quankanne Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 theoretically, if your breathing is compromised in any way, your body's not getting enough oxygen to the RBCs and you feel sluggish, yeah, I can see how bad allergies or even asthma can cause fatigue. Hell, I get that way when I get upper respiratory infections, and I had a bxtch of one back in January that rendered me useless because any small burst of energy was quickly zapped and it seemed like all I did was try to get sleep .. I know tea tree oil helps with sinus problems/colds ... does it make any difference with helping ease allergy symptoms? Anyone?
