colliejoanie Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 We've been broken up for months now......such a long story, but he was not a good guy.....is not a good father to our daughter.....and frankly is dangerous. So I left him for the final time in April. Why then, did it bother me so badly tonight to hear a mutual friend say that he is "whooped" by this new girlfriend. That he is so in love with her. I wanted to scream, "no, he's just acting that way! He loves me. He told me he would always love me. He's using her!" Why does this matter to me. When will I get to the point that I truly don't care a damn thing about him????
bonpaw2008 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 It's just human nature Collie, and from your comments you are not upset about him being with someone else, you are worried about her because you are sure that he is doing the same thing to her as he did to you. You are strong, I can see it. This is just a little set-back and you will be right back with it soon. Tell the friend to shut the **** up, you don't want to hear it the next time they start yapping
