flyguy23 Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I was at a bar tonight and she was there. We saw eachother and she came by and started talking to me. She got teary eyed in the bar and said she missed me blah blah blah. I can see right thru her lies. She hasnt tried to contact me for 2 weeks and after she left the bar she starts texting me like crazy. Saying she only wants to be with me and she hopes we can build our futures together and that I am the only person she loves and wants to be with. That I am not a back up plan and that she misses me like crazy. I just stopped texting her, she thinks I am a fool. Her actions speak louder than her fake words and her actions say it is over for good. Why do girls play such games?

It's like they realize the grass won't be greener on the other side but they still have to go and see for themselves. It sucks being someone's security blanket instead of their priority.

I expect no less In time you will come to accept this stuff. I've seen stbx with two new 'guys' and the pang of 'f*ck' lasted about 10 seconds, and then I think 'ha, ha, if they only knew what I know' and then 'I wanna slap her last ex-husband for not telling me when he had the chance!' and then 'whatever, next'. You'll get there; just avoid her until your emotions level out. No contact whatsoever. It'll all work out

This time she is flirting with tons of guys and has the nerve to tell me she loves me and wants to marry me but not right now. For now we need to be friends. I said no thanks and will continue NC, and if I see her at a bar I will just leave from now on.

Good plan about no more contact and leaving when you see her out again.
