BiAxident Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I know it's cliché to say "I cant believe he/she did that to me after all we've been through!", but -- I cant believe what she did to me after all that we've been through!" Back in April I broke two years of NC and called my ex-GF. During the call, she invited me up to her place. Once there, we hung out like old times, and ended the night with sex at her suggestion. Over the following weeks, we settled into FWB. By the end of April, she was looking to get back into the relationship full on. Having been dumped very abruptly the first time around, I was very hesitant to get burned again. Well, after waiting on me for five weeks, she grew impatient and signed up for an account on match.com. That was pretty much the kick in the ass I needed to finally throw my hat into the ring. But evidentially, I was one week too late. Now that she got responses, she wanted to see what her options were on-line. So, I twisted in the wind for a month while she made up her mind. Eventually, she chose me! I got the second chance I never thought would happen. It was great! We talked about marriage and engagement rings, got along fantastic -- for a whole four weeks. See, despite the fact that she chose ME, she told all the guys that had contacted her from match.com that they could write her, "just to be friends". Two weeks ago, she dropped the news on me that she was having doubts about the relationship, that she "loved me but wasn't in love with me", and wanted more free time to take some time to see in she could fall in love with me. Wouldn't you know it that she used the free time to go and meet one of the guys she had been e-mailing? And that over the course of ONE weekend she figured out that THIS was the guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with! She dumped me via FB first thing when she got back from the concert -- and even told me that her love for him is greater than what she has had for any other man, including the first time she dated me. From wanting to spend the rest of her life with me to wanting to spend the rest of her life with this guy, in the space of three weeks. I got screwed.
