KikiW Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 All I can say is just make sure whatever you name him, he will be taken seriously if he decides to go into law or become a physician. I cannot tell you how many people name their child something kooky that could limit them in the future.

I cannot tell you how many people name their child something kooky that could limit them in the future. I tend to like some of the kooky and artsy names, but yeah, I didn't want to pigeonhole my kid. My guideline for a name was one that would fit both a musician and a doctor--I figured if it sounded good both onstage and over the PA system in a hospital it should work in most avenues in life. OP, just to be clear, we are talking about a man who would rather walk out on his very pregnant wife than go to even one counseling session to try to make his marriage work? And this on top of the hissy about the names. Maybe you're better off without this guy, he sounds like a real loser.
sb129 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Oh dear. If things are bad now, they aren't going to get any better once your son arrives. Having a new baby is stressful enough.... Get your H to write his three favourite boys names, and you do the same. Then forget about it and decide once the baby is born.
