Elin Woods & Tiger Woods' divorce is final. I think she is setting a good example for women with serial cheaters to move on. She is broken and will never be the same..what do you guys think?

Well, neither will he for that matter.

She did make the best choice for herself. I believe she really loved him.

And I read the straw that broke the camel's back for her was when he left rehab early to go play in the master's.

So, I guess she believed that is where his priorities lay and always would.

Golf, endorsements, social life, kids, putting it back together for Elin.

If you do not feel like a priority after that discovery, well, you never will be all important to the realtionship.

I believe Tiger showed his true stripes, and she was smart enough to realize it. Reconciliation was something he was only paying lip service to, until he got back in good graces with his endorsements.

A beautiful, classy lady with half a bil?

She'll be fine.

As much as she loved him and tried to tolerate his crap when it all came out, but how many mistresses? 11, 12?

She's not broken, He's the one who is.

Trust me she'll be just fine.

Spark, I did not know he left rehab early.

This story is somewhat near and dear to me..it happened the same time I was coming to the realization that my H was a sex-addict. Seeing it on TV everyday felt like salt in the wound. Tiger however was MUCH MORE extreme. My H didn't have any mistresses but he made it #1 priority to fix himself..and still is. To be shoved aside after that much pain..for GOLF?? I would be furious!

Yeah, she'll have to make do on her remaining half a billion dollars she got <snif>

No, the lawyers hammered it down. it's more like 137 million.

That's the settlement money. And that's not counting child support.

I mean all in all she could walk away happy but it still dont make up for what he did and also the fact that it doesnt bring their family back.

Or for sponsors....which means the expectations of his managers, handlers and agents was of more importance to him then his marriage.

She was in Florida, staying near the rehab and attending certain session she was encouraged to, when he left it early. She boarded their private plane to Arizona, which is where I believed she filed.

I could only assume she gave him an ultimatum, and carried it out.

He (or his entourage) stipulated she could never speak to the media about it, or she would forfeit her settlement.

She stipulated her children could NEVER be exposed or introduced to any of his future paramours unless he was formally, publicly engaged.

Smart lady with her intentions to protect her children at all costs.

Good mother.

She will be fine. His loss, IMHO.

How many times in a lifetime, will a man like tiger, with his exposure and wealth, find a woman who truly loves him?

His loss, and a tremendous one at that.

Who said she was irretrievably broken? I don't think that at all.

Beautifully written, couldn't have said it better. She will be fine. Him, not so much.

She *only* has heartbreak to recover from. Meanwhile, he has to deal with the heartbreak and the fact that he's a schmuck.

The real issue is his future in love...what self-respecting woman would date Tiger Woods now?

None! Only a gold digger.

Elin isn't broken, crayon. Neither are you.
