megz Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 My fiancee had broke up with me but says he still wants me in his life and that he will always love me but a couple of days later he said he made a mistake and he wants me back and says that he's been miserable since he broke it off. Because of his job, we were in a long distance relationship so im not sure what's going on with him. I don't know why he wants to break up and then suddenly want me back. should i give him a second chance or should i just break it off for good?
Username37 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 In my opinion: Everybody deserves a second chance. People might agree or disagree. I think you shouldn't rush in right away. Talk to him first and build it up from there.
Maverick1983 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I think everyone deserves a second chance apart from people who are physically abusive and serial cheaters. The question you must ask yourself however is wheter you are willing and more importantly happy to give him a second chance as there is no point in doing so unless you're sure.Take time to think and be comfortable in you're decision.
sugarmomma Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Find out if he will be honest with you about why he broke off the engagement in the first place. Then maybe you guys can work from there. GO SLOW.
Not strong enough Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I believe in the second chance, but u have to really try to make it work and really try to hold onto it until it's very stable again, learn from your mistakes.
boltsfan17 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I think people deserve a second chance when there isn't cheating or abuse involved. Before you decide to give him another chance, you two should sit down and talk. Find out his reasoning to end the relationship. If you do give him another chance, I wouldn't just rush back into things. Take it slow. Good luck.
lizzy22w Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 sounds like he wanted to see if another woman would be with him, and he was denied, so he is trying to get you back. I would check up on this and make sure that wasn't the reason, because if it was - then imagine how it would be if you got married to him. i have always heard that whatever happens before marriage...will be multiplied 10 times when you enter into it, so if he is lying, breaking it off for someone else, etc. now...just think of how it would be afterwards.
