I know she's having fun without me, and I need to do the same...but how can a man love life...when the love of his life, is out of love? It's impossible..which is why I find moving on way harder.. Blah..well, I need people to talk to, my friends are sick of it. *goes to light a smoke*

First, she's not the love of your life. If she was, then she would love you back. Isn't that one of the criteria by which a person becomes the love of someone's life? Isn't it meant to be mutual? How can she possibly be the love of your life if she doesn't love you for life? Second, she's not the love of your life; she's the love of your life so far. Your life is not over yet. You need to start living it.

OK, I know you're a male posting this, but I will use this example. There's a scene from the first Sex and the City movie where Carrie looks to her friends and genuinely asks 'when will I laugh again?', they respond 'when something is really, really funny' This is true for your smile as well. When my ex made the decision, I sat in bed and would stare at the wall. A few days later, I sat in bed, would stare at the wall or watch (500) Days of Summer. I think I watched that movie 15 times since. I get out of bed now. I have laughed too. My friends tell me I'm still around, I'm just not ready to make an appearance yet. I cannot wait to laugh a real laugh again or smile a real smile. That's my plan everyday whether it happens is a different story. My point, don't force yourself to smile. These things will happen in time. You are human. You are upset. You have to go through it. Masking it will only hurt you in the long run. P.S. If I told you I was dressed up in a hot dog suit, juggling oranges while standing in canoe... would you smile then?

I find myself getting more and more pissed every time I see a couple.

Yeah mate. Not sure if its anger for me, but the urge to scream is definatley there. How the hell can they just move on? It's like they forget there was love.

Second, she's not the love of your life; she's the love of your life so far. I can't agree more. People come and go in our lives, and only the one's worth staying actually stay around. Don't do anything that doesn't feel sincere. You will not have fun and people can smell that like bees can smell fear lol You will know in your own time, w little steps, when you're ready to go out, meet some chicks. Don't feel like you have to force yourself.

It's like they forget there was love. Because they don't want us in their lives anymore. We bored them and they want something better. And it shows that we weren't good enough for them Look Kael. Don't rush into anything man. Take your time. Learn to be with yourself for a while. Don't be like the dumpers who just jump into a rebound or something like that. It shows that they're weak and hate to be alone.
