ichabod66 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Haay everyone My bf and i have been goin out for overr a year now and were soo close wit eachotherr and we used to be soo happy but all of sudden lately hes been acting relii mean and distant lately just out of nowhere. Tha more i thought i was loosing him the more clinger i got and i wuld even cry n all that and he just acted like he doesnt care anymore. buut yet he still continously says he loves me and he always kisses mee. I sat him down todaay and asked him wats goin on between us and he said hes falling away from me! and he told me to do sumthing about it. uggh idk wat to do i luv himm soo much hes mii everything i just culdnt take it if he left mee. soo any advice on wat i shuld do plzz sumbody help me im desperate!! i dnt want to loose him
Don Ho Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Well as much as you don't want to hear this and as much as it seems counter-intuitive, you have to NOT contact him at all. I would assume that over the last year you started smothering him and being clingy. That will make either a man or woman lose interest quick. You did what all of us have done: beg, cry, plead, profess you love. All to no avail, right? So that only leaves you with one possible response: No Contact. That means you do not initiate any texts, emails, IMs, Facebook posts, calls and so on. NONE.

Ima just chill out and hang out wit mii friends more and see what that does.

Author ichabod66 Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 Well ill try its just soo hard and i dnt even go to skool i homeskool soo its pretty hard to meet new guys and witout him i just feel soo alone and lost. buut besides that anyways wat do i do when he texts me and calls me? hes been texting me these sweet msgs all daay long sayin he misses mee and he cnt wait to tlk to mee and he told me he luved me and all this. its like wat am i suppose to do. AND he told me everything was guna be okaay buut idk. i mean cnt i try to just back off a lil bit like give him his space and not call and text him unles he calls or texts me. buut do i honestly have to just do the no contact thing and ignore him? cuz i honestly have hope in this relationship and im not giving up untill he says its overr for good. I want this to work. i just think ima back off and do mii own thing and let him do his. And when he decideds to call me ill tlk to him for like a few mins and then let him go and just show him that i have a life too. Cuz i heard guys like a challenge and once they got yuu wrapped around there finger and all in luv they wana leave. Soo is that a good idea? to give him a challenge?
