middleaged Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 My wife of 27 years started to playing the slots a couple of years ago. She had her own account and makes good money. Before long it came to my attention that she was always short money. She admitted to me that she liked playing the slots and that she would never go unless I was with her. I took over the finances but has on different occasions took money out of the account to gamble. The time before last I told her that when she goes and gambles its like that she is cheating on me. She felt bad and said it would not happen again. Then this past week she was at a conference and blew another sizeable amount of money. I feel betrayed and have lost respect. What can I do to help her?
