jim_20 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 My girlfriend is going to university in september and will be over 250 miles away from me, or a 3 hour train journey..... she will be at uni for 2 months then have a 1 month holiday then back to uni for 2 months then 1 month holiday and it repeats like this.... while she is during term times we have agreed to see eachother every fortnight and communicate as much as possible. Can this work?? Thanks
Away Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 yes! it seems like even though you'll be living apart, you guys will have a lot of opportunities to see each other. You should be fine If both of you really want to make it work, you absolutely can. Good luck!
CycleOfLove Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Yes, it can work ONLY if both of you are willing to work hard and stay faithful to each other, to trust each other and most importantly is communicate. If both of you are in love and are not going to give up on each other no matter where you are separated in the world, you WILL make it. If you believe in yourselves and stay faithful and true for each other, make sure you communicate everyday in any way, online, email,MSN,AIM,txt phone. you should be good! especially when you guys are going to see each other quiet a lot. there are many of us who don't get to see our SO for years or haven't met in person yet at all. Stay positive
Omei Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Remember how much you love her and stay strong like the last post-some of us don't see us other for months and months....You guys get to see each other every 2 months for a month? correct? that's really not so bad! and remember the school years will come to and end!
