HopeLove Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 It has been nearly 4 months since my breakup and although I'm much better than at the beginning I still couldn't move on and I'm wondering if a rebound relationship would help me moving on. What do you think?
AndrewJDC Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I personally believe it can help, helped me loads. Others will disagree and say it's unfair on the other person, but you have to look after number one. Go for it!
mickleb Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Immoral and risky. Pick the wrong guy and you can add Shame to the list of stages you should have fully processed before thinking about dating. x
Username37 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 My ex rebound hooked up and I think it worked for her...
vivrantflo Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Going into a relationship, knowing and admitting before hand, that you're using them, seems pretty selfish and cruel. Considering this person may be wanting to take you serious. Time heals wounds. Just give yourself plenty of time. If not, your rebound partner would be an excellent candidate for an account on this site.
Div Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I disagree. You have to be happy on your own and love yourself before you can truly have a proper relationship with another. You're just feeding on their emotional energy and they'll sense that.

lullaby Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I wouldn't recommend you getting into another relationship. You can go out, flirt, even date cute guys and have some good moments, but don't jump back into a relationship. As they said, it's not fair for the other person; you may even compare him with your ex, or whatever. It may work for a while, but better not risk it.
