He didn't show for the baby appt yesterday, but I text him that everything was fine when it was done.

 

He text back 'I was stuck in court today; they fkd me bad I'll tell u bout it later but sorry I couldn't make it, glad all is well'

 

I wish he didn't say that one little part because I seriously waited all evening for a text back. I'm glad he didn't tho cuz I would've died for the conversation - and hurt myself in the end.

 

I just text back 'sorry to hear that - lemme know what happened'

I know the last part wasn't necessary, but I didn't feel like it sounded needy.

 

I'm in a really very good mood today, particularly compared to the last few days, but I think that's because I've had my phone off all night and again this morning. I was reminded first thing this morning that he hasn't tried to contact me. I just had to share
