So in three months I have lost 12 pounds. I know I need to kick up the exercise to loose faster. But 12 lbs is still cool.

But the thing I am more proud of it I did 2 hikes out west over 9,000 ft.

I did a hike last week that a year ago felt like agony and I had to stop several times to rest. Well this time I went all the way up without stopping.2.5 miles up.

I was slow. But I did it it was still challenging in some place but so much easier than before and I felt fine and not tired after going down.

Plus I di danother hike that was easy in the white mountains.this one was only 1.5 miles but it was steep.

anyways I was feeling down about the rate of weight loss so instead of beating myself up I thought I would celebrate some milesstone.

How are you guys doing? What are your milesstones.

Dropping a few pounds is always good and who does not want to look a bit better.

Though often what gets lost in the pursuit of exercise is the real benefit, it allows a person to FEEL better and enjoy life more. Once a person recognize those rewards, working out becomes more then just a means to an end, exercise becomes great part of your life rather something that has to be done.

Congrats

Good for you! keep it up. As for my milestones , I have Nat'l Guard duty every other weekend and the training is very rigorous , (I'm in a combat engineer battalion) so I have to keep in shape. I have no option. But keep up the good work!!!

congrats, that's wonderful! It feels great to feel lighter and healthier doesn't it?

I switched my workout time and stop eating junk at work..I lost 10 pounds which is a lot considering I wasn't overweight to begin with. I'm going to look smokin in my wedding dress! Only a month away now...

You're losing at a very healthy rate of about a pound a week. This gives your body enough time to acclimitise to the change in lifestyle and make it habit.

Yeah, I agree. Rapid weight loss can also cause more stretch marks and stretched out skin.
