I've been missing her so much lately. Thinking about her a lot, mostly just the good memories. The goal of my email or text is most certainly the hope of reconciliation. I know better... I shouldn't be thinking these thoughts.

I don't know what your situation is but when I feel the "itch" to wanna text my ex, I remember the heartache he's caused and how he's betrayed me in one of the worst ways. That smartens me up. Don't do it. You're just prolonging the pain.
lullaby Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I'm not the right one to tell you you shouldn't do it, I fell of the wagon a couple of times, but honestly, save yourself the pain. You've gone so far and did a lot for you, don't ruin now. Maybe wait a little, do something to distract you. When I have the urge to contact him, I just go out and buy something pretty for myself, or eat chocolate, or even sleep so I don't have to think about it. Trust me. Sleep on it and don't think about it. You'll see clearer tomorrow.

Congratulations on 2 months of NC. Due to having kids I've been on LC for almost a month and it's made a difference. Don't do yourself a disservice and break it because your heart is winning the battle with your mind at the moment.

I wish the best for you too, even if you don't notice my response Nobody likes to feel alone and the battle heart vs mind is a never ending one in every situation we find ourselves in. I guess we all ask ourselves 'why me?' 'I don't deserve this' but I guess there's something bigger waiting for us... I want to believe that.
