I have tried 4 times to post and it erased my text. Seeing if I have it right this time

click on the 'remember me' box when you log on.... That way, if you spend a long time writing your post, it won't log you out, which is what I believe happens.

 

it also depends what search engine, and which version you're using.

The site used to log me out and lose my post, but on windows vista, this no longer happens...even if I'm logged out, the post is 'remembered' after I log back in....

 

Although of course, I could be wrong about all of the above....
